v.1-3 > The Lord commissions & sends out Barnabas and Paul from Syria Antioch
– God sets apart different people for different purposes for His work
– God affirms the individual’s ministry through the community of His people
v.4-12 > The Lord continues His work through Barnabas and Paul, as He did through Peter
– God’s work comprises of the faithful preaching of His truth & demonstration of His power
v.13-52 > The Lord uses Paul to communicate His salvation plan to the Jews and Gentiles
– God’s plan for salvation has always been through Jesus and for all who will believe
